Eligibility
All companies, organizations and government departments which operate and have registered in Hong Kong with at least one smoke-free policy implemented during 1 October 2023 to 15 November 2026 are eligible.
How to Apply
All the interested companies/ organizations can apply online, submit valid Business Registration Certificate or equivalent and supplementary information (e.g. Details or photos of smoke-free policies) via the online application system.
Application Fee: Free of charge
Successful application will receive a serial number, if you do not receive any notification with serial number by 20 November 2026, please contact us at project@cosh.org.hk or 2185 6388.

Judging Criteria
All awards are judged by an independent Judging Panel, including representatives from COSH, the Government, industry and academia, for selection of the winners of the awards based on below criteria:
- Support and promote smoke-free culture to stakeholders (including employees, customers and the general public)
- Encourage employees to quit smoking and live a smoke-free lifestyle
- Develop and enforce sustainable smoke-free policy(ies)
Judging Criteria for “Outstanding Smoke-Free Construction Company Award”
- Actively promote a smoke-free culture within companies/organizations in the construction industry
- Encourage and refer employees and stakeholders to quit smoking
- Demonstrate measurable impact by tracking the beneficiary groups reached and number of participants involved during the implementation of the smoke-free policy(ies)
Judging Criteria for “Outstanding Smoke-Free Construction Company Award”
- Demonstrate flexible application of artificial intelligence (AI) or innovative technology elements when formulating smoke-free policy(ies)
- Integrate AI or innovative technology into smoke-free promotion or education
- Demonstrate measurable impact by tracking the beneficiary groups reached and number of participants involved during the implementation of smoke-free policy(ies)
Judging Process
Preliminary Assessment
All eligible companies/ organizations will be assessed based on the completed application form.
In-depth Assessment
Shortlisted companies will be requested to submit further information and/or host observational visits for in-depth assessment.
Final Judging
The Judging Panel and Consultant will evaluate the assessment reports for final decision.
